Morris Township Fire Company – Early Morning Crash Response on I-80
In the early morning hours, Engine Rescue 17 was requested to assist the BJW Fire Company with a reported tractor trailer accident along Interstate 80

Initial reports indicated that a tractor trailer had left the roadway and struck a wooded area. The original caller did not remain on scene, leaving limited information for incoming units. Upon arrival, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) located the crash and confirmed one male occupant was trapped inside the cab of the tractor.
Crew members from Morris Township Fire Company arrived on scene and immediately went to work alongside assisting agencies. Due to the severity of the damage and the position of the vehicle, crews initiated a technical extrication. Utilizing multiple rescue tools, firefighters worked diligently to gain access to the patient and safely remove him from the wreckage. Rescue 16 personnel assisted in the operation, helping ensure a coordinated and efficient effort
