| Turns out, a vehicle decided to skip the driveway and go straight for the in-home dining experience — no reservation required.
Crews from Engine Rescue 17 responded (after the Chief located pants and processed what used to be his wall) and assisted with extrication of the driver, who thankfully was removed safely.
Members also worked quickly to shore up the structure, which had recently been upgraded to include a “garage-style dining room entrance.” Damage was significant, but spirits remain high — especially now that the Chief no longer has to walk to the kitchen… it’s basically curbside service.
We’d like to remind everyone: • Slow down on turns 🚗 • GPS directions do NOT include “enter through residence” 🏠• And if you’re planning a late-night visit… please knock next time
As always, thank you for your continued support — and if you were considering buying a ticket to our August fundraiser, just know it helps keep our walls standing (most of the time).
Stay safe, Morris Township! |
