The Morris Township Fire Company has been closely monitoring the highly scientific, extremely accurate, never-wrong weather models regarding the “potential” storm Sunday into Monday

And by closely monitoring, we mean staring at five different apps, three meteorologists, two social media pages, and that one guy who “can smell snow coming.”

At this time, forecasts are calling for anywhere between:
A light dusting
A couple inches
Plowable snow
A historic winter event
Or absolutely nothing

It really depends on which model you look at, what time you look at it, and whether the forecaster had coffee yet.

One model says we’re getting buried.
Another says it’ll rain.
Another says it’ll snow, then rain, then snow again, then possibly frogs.

So what should you do?
You should either:
Prepare accordingly
OR
Don’t prepare at all.
We feel that covers all possibilities.

As always:
Make sure your vehicles are ready.
Check on elderly neighbors.
Stock up on milk, bread, and whatever it is that makes everyone panic.
Or just relax and enjoy the suspense.

We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates once the models collectively decide what season it is.

Stay safe, Morris Township — and may the odds be ever in your favor. ❄️
