Today, members of the Morris Township Volunteer Fire Company and the Columbia Volunteer Fire Company teamed up to assist the Moshannon Valley YMCA and CenClear with preparations for their Winterfest at Rustic Ridge Farm

Crews cut through thick ice on a pond at the farm, drafted water, and utilized tankers to haul approximately 25,000 gallons to fill the ice-skating rink for the event.

Winterfest will be held on February 28th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 5193 Morgan Run Road, West Decatur. The event will feature ice skating, sled riding, and many other fun winter activities for the community.
