At 0716 this morning, as temperatures hovered around 0 degrees, Company 17 was alerted by County 911 to a structure fire on Clearfield St in Wallecton Boro

Initial reports indicated a fire near the main breaker box inside a residence, prompting the occupants to evacuate the structure.
Assist Chief 17 arrived on scene within minutes and confirmed a working fire. As Quint 17 arrived on scene, crew members immediately deployed a 1 3/4-inch hand line and quickly put a knock on the fire. As Engine Rescue 17 and additional mutual aid companies arrived on scene, crew members began overhaul.
