| 1 with a reported vehicle accident on Interstate 80 at the 141-mile marker. Initial information indicated a single vehicle off the roadway with possible entrapment.
Upon arrival, crews determined the sole operator had self-extricated prior to fire department arrival.
Later that night, at approximately 0023 hours, Company 17 was again dispatched for a vehicle accident with reported injuries in the area of Deer Creek Road and Schoonover Road.
While responding, Deputy 17 was advised by a passerby at the intersection that the crash scene was approximately one mile down Schoonover Road and that the vehicle occupants had reportedly fled the scene. This information was immediately relayed to County 911 and all responding units.
Upon arrival at the scene, four individuals were being interviewed by the Pennsylvania State Police. Company 17 personnel assisted Moshannon Valley EMS with patient care for two individuals.
Company 17 units remained on scene until all emergency operations were completed. |
