Last evening at 2132, Clearfield County Department of Public Safety alerted Company 17 for a possible structure fire on the 6500 block of Deer Creek Rd

As Engine Rescue 17, Quint 17, Engine Tanker 17, and multiple mutual aid companies responded, County 911 began to field numerous calls of a working fire.

Assistant Chief 17 arrived to confirm a working fire of a structure that had already collapsed into the basement.

With the structure already on the ground Asst. Chief 17 held the box for Companies 16,17,18, and 19.

As Engine Rescue 17 arrived on scene, a driveway line of 5 inch hose was deployed and connected into a hydrant across Deer Creek road while 2 had lines were deployed. As Quint 17 arrived, the Ariel ladder and master stream were put into service.

Deer Creek road was closed for approximately 90 minutes while crews operated on scene.

As crews operated on scene, Moshannon Valley EMS provided rehab for all members.
