| Initial reports indicated a cattle truck had overturned, with livestock both inside the trailer and in the median. Engine Rescue 17 arrived on scene to find the operator uninjured. Crews confirmed that multiple cattle remained inside the trailer, while others were outside in the median area. Due to the nature of the incident, the Clearfield County Animal Response Team (CART) was requested to assist. CART responded to the scene and worked alongside fire personnel to safely offload the cattle from the overturned trailer into a secondary transport trailer. Earlier today, Morris Township Fire Company was again dispatched, this time to the area of 6th Street and Parde Road for a reported four-wheeler fire. Engine Rescue 17 and Engine Tanker 17 arrived to find a four-wheeler fully involved in flames in the roadway. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and secured the scene. During the investigation, it was discovered that the operator had fled prior to emergency services' arrival. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police, Woodland Barracks. |
